Charles Godreau, Nergica: Cold Climate Research at Nergica
Nergica is a research center based in Gaspé, Canada, that stimulates innovation in the renewable energy industry through research, technical assistance, technology transfer and technical support. We own and operate a research wind farm in Cold Climate (CC) since 2010. The two Senvion MM92 turbines as well as two 126 meters met masts are used for various R&D projects. Charles Godreau, project manager as Nergica, is also Canada’s representative on the International Energy Agency (IEA) Wind TCP Task 19 focussed on cold climate wind energy. The presentation will cover ongoing CC related projects and IEA Task 19 objectives.

The Wind Energy Institute of Canada advances the development of wind energy across Canada through research, testing, innovation and collaboration.
